At SolarMark (accessible via solarmark.us), we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information in connection with the SolarMark mobile application (the "Application") and our website (the "Website").
Our privacy philosophy is simple: We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any of your personally identifiable information (PII). We only process the minimal pseudonymous data necessary to facilitate application functionality and fulfill in-app purchases.
1. Minimal Data Processing & Purchases
The Application is designed to function primarily as a local utility.
- No Personal Information: We do not collect traditional personal identifiers such as your name, email address, physical address, phone number, or IP address.
- No User Accounts: You do not need to create an account, log in, or provide any personal authentication credentials to use the Application.
- Minimal Processing: To facilitate and maintain premium features via lifetime in-app purchases, the application securely processes a minimal set of pseudonymous device identifiers and transactional records as described in Section 3.
- No Analytical Tracking: We do not integrate third-party behavioral analytics, behavioral tracking SDKs, or advertising networks that monitor your personal behavior or profile your identity.
2. Local-Only Data Storage
Any operational data read by the Application is strictly processed and stored locally on your own physical mobile device.
- Inverter Data: All energy statistics, production history, and battery status metrics read from your inverter via Modbus TCP remain exclusively on your device's local database (SQLite). This data is never transmitted to us or any third-party servers.
- Network Settings: The IP address and port configurations you enter to connect to your inverter are stored locally on your device to facilitate the direct local network connection. They are never sent to the cloud.
- Data Control: You have full ownership of your data. If you delete the Application from your device, all locally stored data, configurations, and history are permanently erased. We cannot recover this data for you as we never had access to it.
3. Third-Party Services and In-App Purchase Processing
While your core inverter metric calculations are kept strictly local, the Application utilizes third-party store frameworks to manage premium commercial access. We utilize RevenueCat to validate, unlock, and maintain your lifetime premium status across device launches.
- What Is Processed: To fulfill purchase delivery, RevenueCat securely processes a pseudonymous hardware or software device identifier (such as an Android ID or random installation token) alongside standard Google Play transaction receipt tokens.
- Purpose: This data is used strictly for App Functionality and internal transactional verification. This structural device data is never used for advertising, behavioral mapping, or user tracking, and is never sold or shared.
- Financial Processing: Any financial payment transactions ($19.99 USD or local equivalent) are handled securely and directly by the Google Play Store billing engine. We never see, store, or transmit your credit card or financial accounts.
4. Data Deletion Rights and Requests
Under global data protection laws (including GDPR and CCPA), you retain the right to request the permanent deletion of your processed data history.
Although our application does not maintain traditional user profiles, cloud databases, or personal account credentials, we will readily purge any pseudonymous device profiles and transaction receipts mapped to your handset from our transaction processing host's servers upon explicit request.
To initiate a transaction data deletion request without needing to re-download the application, please submit an explicit request via our support email address support@solarmark.us. Upon validation of your hardware token or purchase receipt, all matching transactional metrics and device rows will be permanently wiped from the RevenueCat backend processor systems within 30 days.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Because the Application does not collect your contact details, we encourage you to check this page periodically for updates.
