Solis Modbus TCP registers
Register reference for reading Solis (Ginlong) standard and hybrid inverters over Modbus TCP, including RHI battery and grid meter registers.
Connection parameters: Modbus TCP on port 502, function code FC04 (Read Input Registers) for inverter production. The default unit ID is 1.
Production registers (Solis Standard)
| Function | Register(s) | Raw format | Scaling | Metric | App output |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| FC04 | 3004–3005 | U32 BE | × 1 W | Instantaneous inverter power | Watts |
| FC04 | 3008–3009 | U32 BE | × 1 kWh | Lifetime energy production | Wh (raw × 1,000) |
| FC04 | 3033 | U16 | × 0.1 V | AC output voltage, phase A | Volts |
Efficient block read: 3004–3009 in one request, plus voltage at 3033.
Production registers (Solis Hybrid)
| Function | Register(s) | Raw format | Scaling | Metric | App output |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| FC04 | 33079–33080 | U32 BE | × 1 W | Instantaneous inverter power | Watts |
| FC04 | 33029–33030 | U32 BE | × 1 kWh | Lifetime energy production | Wh (raw × 1,000) |
| FC04 | 33073 | U16 | × 0.1 V | Grid voltage, phase A | Volts |
Battery registers (RHI)
| Register(s) | Raw format | Scaling | Metric | Sign handling |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 33139 | U16 | × 1% | State of charge | Clamped to 0–100% |
| 33149–33150 | S32 | × 1 W | Battery power | Positive discharge value is negated |
Grid meter registers (Standard and Hybrid)
| Register(s) | Raw format | Scaling | Metric | Sign convention |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 70–71 | I32 | × 1 W | Instantaneous grid power | Positive export, negative import |
| 72–73 | U32 BE | × 0.01 kWh | Cumulative exported energy | Wh (raw × 10) |
| 74–75 | U32 BE | × 0.01 kWh | Cumulative imported energy | Wh (raw × 10) |
Sign conventions used throughout: grid power is normalized so positive = exporting and negative = importing. Battery power is normalized so charging and discharging follow the app's convention noted per table.
Solis inverters speak Modbus natively over RS485; reliable TCP access usually means an RS485-to-TCP bridge or a datalogger stick that serves Modbus TCP, since standard Wi-Fi loggers vary by firmware.
